I've done something similar in my kitchen on our cork board for other small household items that pile up (tickets from the movie store, Campbell's Soup labels, Box Tops for Education, etc.) but for some reason hadn't made the leap to doing this for my small unfinished projects... Thank you for the inspiration!Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06423897619343554315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079736865513882040.post-27905284297629565012012-02-06T18:41:01.332+11:002012-02-06T18:41:01.332+11:00Thanks Vicki :) I will head to the shop in the mor...Thanks Vicki :) I will head to the shop in the morning and get a light and a dark :)Kezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00861943208576964562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079736865513882040.post-74377513827321448482012-02-06T18:27:38.112+11:002012-02-06T18:27:38.112+11:00Yes it is Kez. It's a bit different to ordinary thread to use but it's not as easily seen either!
Hugs,
Vicki.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01860432842111093854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079736865513882040.post-23400269702888433132012-02-06T11:08:02.540+11:002012-02-06T11:08:02.540+11:00thanks Vicki, yes I have silk ribbon but didnt have...thanks Vicki, yes I have silk ribbon but didnt have the colour I wanted lol so attempted with some other and its not anywhere near as good. I love your idea...You certainly have been busy Kez. I love your idea of turning knitting patterns into sewing patterns. Have you ever tried silk ribbons for miniatures? I always use them because they are smaller size and softer so will do what you want them to do. Also,if you want to sew instead of gluing ( I get it everywhere too)you might like to try using invisible thread, at least you won't see the stitches. Take care, Vicki.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01860432842111093854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079736865513882040.post-5978165139259250572012-02-05T11:52:17.642+11:002012-02-05T11:52:17.642+11:00Love the magnet idea for unfinished projects!
