Coffee time/ recycle

My minis are escaping .....They are finding places to live all over my house! I thought I would share with you one of my favorite places for those little things I made as exercises but didnt quite know what to do with them. Take an empty coffee jar mine is moccona and has a glass lid with a plactic seal. wash and remove labels. Carefully remove the plastic from the lid ....I found runnind the handle of a teaspoon under the plastic lip worked best.then you have a tiny container within the lid to fill with a vignette..I reuse the jars for storage and also make the little scenes and then fill the jars with goodies to give as little gifts :) although the pics are bad they really do look good try it for youself ...have fun.....off to drink my coffee now .

Still playing :)

my first adaptation of a pattern....almost worked.
This one is much better the jumper is adapted from one of Lindsey Minnerellis' patterns...hers was for a cable knit jumper. Im happy with the results :)
before and after....1/24th scale chair. I half stripped back the varnish removed the arms...as one was broken and made a padded leather seat and back for it. oops this should be at the top LOL not very technology savvy. The bottom image is a outfit knitted in tatting thread and a baby bouncer that I made.

Building continues

hard at it whenever they get the chance...Tim and Bob continue work on the house.
Bob looks please with the first work on the steps

so the ground floor is almost complete apart from a dividing wall with fireplace in the lower section .in the upper center is where the french doors will go.The front door is actually the smaller door upper right. This is going to have to be on castore as when the next level goes on it will be to heavy to move.Another reason for it being mobile is when its complete there will be acsess from 3 sides.
Bob couldnt resist sitting on the top before Tim put the second floor on LOL
