Where does the time go

 I cant believe its been so long since I posted ...some of my time has been taken up making my sons cosplay outfit ....lol maybe he will let me take a pic when its finished .It was also his 19th birthday and I still find it hard to believe that my youngest is almost 20 O_o. But as for minis I have learnt how to make ribbon roses from a you  tube tute , there are loads out there! So I made a little hat to use some of the roses.

 Ive been playing with air dry clay ....attempting to make plant pots ...not happy with them yet...just have to keep experimenting I guess.

 working on some bottles etc with acylic beads and some free online printy labels ...I think they will work.

And I have learnt how to do needlepunch so am attempting a bathmat !Apart from those things I have been working on mystery box items ......so you cant see those yet ;)

The new Mystery box

This is certainly going to be a challenge .....Im so glad I have 4 months ....but a few ideas are already forming ....but I have no idea what Im going to do with the wing nut ....Interesting!

 In my last post you can see the sheet of test print I did on the freezer paper...here it is on a HOM kit I picked up for $2. I like it so much better than the blue that was in the box.

I Love freezer paper!

 I had never heard of freezer paper until last week when I saw it used on "For the love of Minis " blog ....Im hooked the posibilities are endless!After testing this out on a full sheet of pattern I looked through some of my art books and found some images to make cushions :)

 2 completed tiny cushions.

While I was playing with my computer I sneezed ....how fortuitous ....I looked at the tissues and thought ...Im sure I could ......so here is my miniature tissue box :) I hope everyone has a wonderful day :) Happy mini ing !

Trying to get things finished

 The above two pics area kit I bought ages ago and I just got around to finishing it .I changed things a little making a padded base for the chair.

 This is sideways :/ but anyway you get the idea....I bought myself some magnetic clips and put unfinished things in palastic bags then put them on the front of my locker....this way when I go in there to do something Im reminded to finish what I start...well the chair and quilting frame were the first bag to go :)

 LOL superglued my fingers together on this ...then split the glued seams while attemping to lace it....this goes down as a learning experience . I dont like glued seams ;) Oh well another bag gone ...but this time to the bin LOL.

 I bought this book a while ago ....not to knit the patterns ......

 but to adapt them to sewing ....

 all of the patterns have clear diagrams with measurements ,so

 I used these to make a pattern

and attempted a blazer....ok this is mark 1 and the pattern needs some work ...but it will get there ...again not happy with gluing so the needle and thread is out again...lets hope I continue to finish what I start ;)
